The pond

The pond and the park were created in the 14th century by landscape monks. Later, between 1830 and 1850, it was enlarged and elevated, which brought the surface to the current one, 14ha.
The bottom of the pond is made of sand and its depth varies from 50 cm to 3 meters maximum.
JG Ménard was born in the house and therefore has always known all of it. Willing to share the property with nature lovers, he has rebuilt 3 high-standard gîtes and created 15 fishing spots near centenary trees surrounding the pond. Two fishermen per spot have enough room to enjoy.

Lots of mirror carps, cuirs and communes can be found, some of them weighing over 14 kilos! Some beautiful tenches, pikes and perches, among others, also inhabit the pond Finally, the quality of food to be found in the pond should be appreciated by the Baeri sturgeons brought in in January 2005.

REGULATIONS AND TROPHIES

• GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  

  
  Please go to the reception desk when you arrive- Reception desk is open from 9.30 to 12.30am and from 2pm to 6pm.
  Bookings are made from 2pm .
  Arrivals are allowed until 6pm and fishing spots must be booked 8 days in advance. - Bookings cancelled 8 days prior to arrival date, or a departure before the end of the stay, are not refundable.
  Green tents only are allowed..
  - Stoves and barbecues are allowed by the water (no fire on the ground).
  Please be quiet – especially after 10 pm - and respect the environment.
  - Dogs must be kept on a leash by the fishing spots.
  Carpists wishing to visit the property (with permission) must leave the place at 7pm
  An accompanying person is allowed but will have to stay with the fisherman and register at the welcome desk.
  Showers, sinks and toilets are available.
  Swimming and dish washing are strictly forbidden in the pond.
  Bicycles and motorbikes are strictly forbidden by the pond and must remain in the parking lot.
  Vehicles must be parked on the reserved area after equipment is unloaded.
  No vehicle allowed by the fishing spots (except if authorised by the managing team)
  Unattended children are not allowed.
  Spots must be left clean after departing.
  Trash bins are available, glass must be sorted and cigarettes must not be thrown on the ground or in the pond.

  
  Fishermen are entirely responsible for themselves or any damage they may cause
  Fishermen have to inform the accompanying people of the general terms-
  Spots are not accessible between 8pm and 8.30am.

• FISHING RULES
  Fishing is allowed in NO KILL only..
  A maximum of 3 fishing rods is allowed. Lines must be watched
  Maximum of 2 fishermen per spot..
  - The use of simple fish hooks without ardillons or fastgrip is compulsory.
  Fishes must be able to free themselves easily.
  An unhooking carpet and a bite detector are required
  All fishes are to be brought back into the water after being weighed and photographed, at night and day time-
  Baiting must be operated from the pond banks, in tolerable quantities
  Bouillettes , cooked seeds and pellet are allowed. - radiocontrolled boats, are not allowed (see the managing team).
  Fish branding is banned.
  The managing staff has a right to expel any person not respecting the general terms and conditions, without refund.
  The general terms and conditions must be signed at your arrival and kept with you during your stay
